A Personal Greeting from Dr. Dan
Hey Grand Rapids, I’m Dr. Dan! Most days, if I am not in the practice adjusting and caring for my practice members, you will find me with my family doing the things that we love to do! My wife Karen and I are both natives of Michigan, although she was a “Yooper” and I grew up in a small town in the lower half of the state.
During my engineering undergraduate studies at Michigan Technological University, we met, and now we have five daughters and a family referral-based chiropractic office, Freedom Chiropractic, serving in the northwest region of Grand Rapids!

Dr. Dan’s Chiropractic Journey
Dr. Dan’s personal journey with chiropractic care is not unfamilar to most people. Dealing with chronic headaches as a young person, he was constantly taking medications to help himself feel better. It was not until he was introduced to chiropractic that he found lasting correction of this common issue, and as a result, his approach to health began to shift.
After working as a Mechanical Engineer for about 6 years, he and Karen moved their family to Atlanta Georgia, where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Life University. He has been in West Michigan for the past 5 years, and feels blessed to meet so many amazing families and individuals who have trusted him with their health.
