Dr. Dan made the decision to become a chiropractor and practice in Grand Rapids after starting his career as a Mechanical Engineer. Having a personal experience when he was younger with chronic headaches, he was able to find lasting relief through chiropractic care, and so he continued to make it a regular part of his life, and the life of his family. Looking to the future, Dr. Dan decided to leave the engineering field and pursue a career in chiropractic, which has turned out to be the best decision he could have made! Instead of working to make engines and machines function better, he has been able to help many reach a higher level of health through chiropractic and lifestyle changes.
Your Healthcare Goals. Our Team.
How can chiropractic care help you?
The major reasons we see people at our practice in Grand Rapids is for pain related issues, like low back pain, neck pain, sciatica, headaches, migraines and other similar problems. These are the same issues that drive most people to visit a chiropractor, and are very common issues that many people live with not only in Grand Rapids, but across the world. What most people wouldn’t expect is that we also see a lot of people with the main complaint of digestive issues, reproductive issues, babies with colic and reflux, numbness and tingling, pregnancy related concerns, and many other issues that are leading to less than optimal health!
Our Mission Statement
Our mission is to improve the health of as many individuals as possible. We will accomplish this by addressing the root cause of health issues, educating, and providing a path of hope and healing through principled chiropractic care.
Our Belief Statement
We believe that our bodies were created to be healthy, and every individual and family cared for in this practice has a greater capacity for health than those we have not yet had the opportunity to serve.
What Sets us Apart
Our practice utilizes the Torque Release Technique, which is a neurologically based system of identifying areas of dysfunction within the central nervous system, which can then affect the function of other body systems. Dr Dan utilizes an adjusting instrument called the Integrator to administer very gentle and specific chiropractic adjustments to restore proper function to the body. In addition to our adjusting method, Dr. Dan will work to educate you on the importance of daily habits, diet, and other behaviors that may be holding you back from being your best.
There are many misconceptions about chiropractic. People may believe that it is only meant for older people who have back pain or years of damage or injury. It is true that we help a lot of people like this, but we also see a large portion of Grand Rapids residents who want to be more proactive and work to prevent future declines in their health. The best time to work on your health is while you still have it! Also, people often worry about the twisting and cracking that occurs with a chiropractic adjustment. At our practice we utilize a more gentle approach for those people who do not like the traditional method of adjusting, which allows them to be more relaxed and respond better to our care!
